03

Review destination readiness for the edition you are preparing.

Approved private versions

A new upload creates a version. It does not replace the current approval until you review and approve it. Keep manuscript and cover history with the edition.

Destination-specific review

Review metadata, rights, territories, pricing, exclusivity, and approved-file requirements. Changed information requires a fresh review. Readiness supports preparation, not guaranteed acceptance.

Package and receipt history

Prepare KDP ebook or supported print packages, Apple Books and Google Play Books ebook packages, or BookBub promotion applications. Record delivery and later outcomes separately from preparation activity.

Frontlist performs available technical checks. You still review content and provider previews, run current EPUBCheck before approving an EPUB, and use print proofs where applicable.

How this works for your books

Reuse the book information while keeping editions distinct

Bring the information you already haveA title’s shared descriptions and author information support its separate edition records. Import edition details by CSV or add them in the book workspace.
Reduce repeated setupCopy selected settings only from an edition of the same format. Keep each edition’s ISBN, price, page count, files, and approvals specific to that edition.
Keep the next release under controlPrepare supported ebook or print packages, copy individual destination fields, and retain the file version record with each package.

One title, all supported formats, 1 GB of private files, and one open campaign. No credit card. Pro adds unlimited titles and campaigns with 25 GB for $9.99 monthly or $99 annually.
