Already have a catalog spreadsheet?

Import your existing title list

Add titles, series, edition details, and recorded platform statuses and links using the CSV template. Free supports one title total; Pro supports a larger catalog. Preview imports before saving. Existing title names are skipped unless you supply their Title ID from a catalog export to update them. Add and approve private files separately.

Start with one real title

Your first three steps

01

Add an existing title and record actual live editions and links.

02

Upload revisions and approve the replacement when it is reviewed.

03

Prepare a new package and plan its next backlist campaign.

Approved private versions

A new upload creates a version. It does not replace the current approval until you review and approve it. Keep manuscript and cover history with the edition.

Destination-specific review

Review metadata, rights, territories, pricing, exclusivity, and approved-file requirements. Changed information requires a fresh review. Readiness supports preparation, not guaranteed acceptance.

Package and receipt history

Prepare KDP ebook or supported print packages, Apple Books and Google Play Books ebook packages, or BookBub promotion applications. Record delivery and later outcomes separately from preparation activity.

Frontlist performs available technical checks. You still review content and provider previews, run current EPUBCheck before approving an EPUB, and use print proofs where applicable.

How this works for your books

Questions for backlist authors

Can I keep the old files when I revise a book?

Yes. Uploading a new version preserves the current approval until you approve the replacement. Archived versions and files retained by snapshots remain stored and count toward your allowance.

What is included free?

One title, all supported formats, one open campaign, and 1 GB of private file storage. File versions, approvals, readiness checks, supported preparation packages, and delivery records are included. Each file can be up to 50 MB.

What happens after I prepare the package?

Copy individual destination fields or download the ZIP containing pinned files, a worksheet, a destination metadata CSV, and a preparation record. Complete the provider’s form, upload, and preview in its portal, then record the acknowledgement and receipt or external ID in Frontlist.

When should I upgrade?

Choose Pro when you need additional titles, multiple open campaigns, or more private storage. Pro includes unlimited titles and campaigns with 25 GB of storage for $9.99 monthly or $99 annually.
